2024-2025 SPRING CLUB UNDERWAY
Our Titans club teams have been playing well and developing and competing hard throughout the Spring season. We have been running skills clinics (Titans Academy) and players are having fun and getting better each time. We are gearing up for a busy summer with fun activities, skills academy, and club teams going strong. Poway Youth Basketball League
For over forty years the Poway Youth Basketball League has been providing an excellent opportunity for boys and girls to learn about and enjoy the wonderful game of basketball. Over the years, the league has continued to grow and now serves nearly 600 boys and girls, ranging in ages from early elementary school through high school. The league strives to maintain as its primary goal, to provide a fun, safe, recreational environment to play basketball.
Mission Statement
It is the mission of Poway Youth Basketball League (PYBL) to provide and promote a safe, recreational basketball program for the youth of Poway and its surrounding communities. To this end, PYBL encourages good sportsmanship, developing strong playing skills, and promoting friendly relationships among the players, coaches, referees and parents.
Playing Basketball Year Round
Titans Academy
We have started a weekly skills clinic for all players to participate called Titans Academy, which we will continue along with our Club and Rec programs throughout the year. For the summer, Titans Academy is a low-commitment opportunity for your player to participate and get better throughout the summer.
Skills Clinics
Building skills for young girls & boys to learn the fundamentals of basketball in fun and local environment. We encourage young girls & boys to participate in multiple activities, basketball being one.
PYBL Summer Shot Club
We're all about the development of our players and hope to get active participation from all PYBLers in our inaugural Summer Shot Club beginning June 15 and running through August 15!
We will be distributing a flyer in the coming days with further details!
Back to School 3-on-3 Tournament
We will be holding a Back to School 3-on-3 Tournament, with a tentative date of the weekend of August 16-17. Please save the date and more information will follow this summer!
Summer Titans Club Teams
Building on the success of Winter and Spring, we are fielding Titans club teams at all grade levels for Boys and Girls for the summer to play in either the Sol or Thrive Leagues.
Rec League
Rec League is played in a fun and supportive environment. Our main rec league is during the Winter, however, we are exploring other seasons to hold Rec League
Titans Club
We form competitive teams beginning in 3rd grade. Our goals are to develop skills to compete at a high level and have fun while doing it.
Champions League
Champions League is for all those players with special needs, disabilities, and other challenges. Our goal is to provide these players a sense of accomplishment by learning basketball skills and being part of a team.
